Energy sector leaders and stakeholders from 15 countries came together in November 2023 to collaborate on action plans to accelerate the transition to clean and resilient energy in the Pacific region.
The two-day regional workshop engaged over 70 stakeholders from government, utilities, regulators, developers, universities, and development partners to craft a common framework towards zero emissions, renewable energy, and transformational investments for a resilient future. Project ideas and partnerships were a natural outcome.
The workshop report is provided here.
Workshop organizers include Arizona State University (ASU), the Pacific Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (PCREEE), the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI), and the University of the South Pacific (USP).
Funding for the workshop was provided by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) together with the Austrian Development Agency and the Government of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
